United States Digital Space LLC, driving Starlink manufacturing initiatives, seeks an Automation & Controls Specialist for silicon process manufacturing. You will integrate production systems, validate vendor equipment, and develop PLC/SCADA/HMI software to support wafer- and chip-level packaging.

The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, safety compliance, and collaboration with engineering to move concepts to mass production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalence required.
• 2+ years programming experience in listed languages.
• 2+ years automation experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and commission electromechanical production systems with diverse tools and equipment.
• Validate and integrate vendor/OEM equipment into systems for traceability and control.
• Develop, modify, and maintain PLC/SCADA/HMI software for wafer- and chip-level packaging operations.
• Develop and implement new automation solutions to meet production requirements in semiconductor packaging.
• Read and utilize system schematics for troubleshooting packaging equipment.
• Procure components and hardware for control solutions in advanced packaging environments.
• Maintain factory operations with safe workflow and inventory controls.
• Promote 5S principles for an efficient workspace.
• Innovate to develop solutions that support high-reliability packaging production.
