Job summary

EMD Electronics is seeking an MEGASYS Operations Supervisor for an onsite role in the Austin, TX area. You will oversee technicians and coordinate gas and chemical management projects to ensure continuous supply for semiconductor manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 2+ years of experience in a semiconductor, chemical or other manufacturing setting
• OR High School Diploma or GED with 8+ years of experience in a semiconductor, chemical or other manufacturing setting
• 1+ years of demonstrated leadership, mentorship, coaching, team building, or supervisory experience in an electronics or chemical manufacturing setting

Responsibilities

• Drives safety-first culture with zero targets in safety and quality performance; supervise BSP safety processes for shifts and assigned employees
• Drives continuous improvement across shifts and ensures changes are communicated and followed
• Ensures flawless handoffs between shifts and clear communication of customer expectations and deadlines
• Main customer contact for all Operations and project activities; maintains zero gas or chemical interruptions
• Coordinates and supports gas and chemical management projects and scheduling
• Trains and certifies technicians to required levels of proficiency for each skill area
• Maintains online systems to address operational concerns and reduce downtime
• Performs 8D investigations and root cause analyses with action items
• Monitors equipment/service excursions and escalates appropriately
• Maintains online shift schedule and delivers timely employee feedback
