Job summary

EMD Electronics is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance technicians in a semiconductor environment in Austin, TX. You will oversee gas, chemical, and distribution equipment, manage inventory, and drive safety, quality, and uptime for critical manufacturing systems.

The role requires engineering or related degree, 2+ years in maintenance and 1+ years in supervision, with a focus on leadership and continuous improvement. Onsite work with some travel and a strong emphasis on safety.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or another engineering discipline.
2+ years in industrial maintenance or trades.
1+ years in leadership or supervisory roles.
OR HS diploma with 8+ years in industrial maintenance.
1+ years in leadership or supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

Oversee maintenance technicians and the operation of gas, chemical, and slurry distribution equipment.
Ensure safety procedures and training are followed; manage shift activities and staffing.
Serve as primary customer contact for equipment issues and coordinate with supervisors and staff.
Monitor KPIs, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with BSP and ELSAS programs.
Lead incident investigations and ensure safe, efficient execution of work.
