Job summary

ASM in Phoenix is seeking a hands-on Lab Specialist to join our Metrology team. You will operate and troubleshoot metrology systems, perform analyses, and prepare samples for FIB lift-out, delivering high-quality data and insights to engineering groups.

You will contribute to method development, maintain rigorous lab standards, and collaborate across teams in a fast-paced semiconductor environment in Phoenix.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Materials Science or related field.
• Experience in thin film analysis is a plus.
• Programming skills are valued.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot a variety of metrology systems in the clean room and lab areas.
• Perform standard analysis procedures and report results clearly.
• Prepare samples for FIB lift-out, including identifying areas of interest and coating as needed.
• Collect, organize and report analytical data to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop analytical methods.
• Maintain lab cleanliness and 6S standards.
