Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Metal Process Technician to support manufacturing and system operations, including setup, calibration, data collection, and in-line adjustments for memory chips and logic.

The role requires adherence to SOPs, problem-solving through failure analysis, and collaboration with engineers and teams across the plant. Shift: D shift, on-site, with weekend rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification required; equivalent military service accepted.
• Familiarity with SPC methods and TPM concepts.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform Change Point Management (CPM)/System Maintenance following SOPs.
• Troubleshoots: conducts failure analysis and follows scripts to anticipate failures.
• Monitors equipment and processes; identifies improvement opportunities.
• Works in a team environment and communicates effectively across the organization.
