Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Chandler is seeking a Semiconductor Maintenance Technician for the photo equipment area in the Chandler Fab. The role covers maintenance of critical toolsets used in photo processing.

Responsibilities include scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting electrical, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical systems, consumable changes, and documentation. You may train others and must communicate clearly while standing long shifts and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Specific knowledge of semiconductor maintenance functions is required.
• KLA equipment or track experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on toolsets.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Perform consumable changes and other tasks for tool operation.
• Complete documentation and train others as needed.
• Interface with internal and external groups to ensure safety, performance and reliability.

## Semiconductor Maintenance Technician - PhotoApply: Chandler (Manufacturing): Full time: Posted Today: R-10066616The candidate(s) selected will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in Chandler Fab Photo equipment area.The technician position is responsible for effectively executing tasks that are required to maintain primarily the toolsets within the following tool groups:Photo equipmentASML PAS5500 ScannersCanon IW SteppersTEL ACT8/MARK7 TracksMetrology equipmentKLA 8100 SEMKLA 5100/5200 Overlay InspectionThe tasks include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting and repair of electrical and electronic systems, pneumatic and mechanical systems, scheduled maintenance, consumable changes, and various other activities relevant to the success of the area. The desired candidate should have a solid understanding of SPC, 5s, FDC systems, and demonstrate problem solving skills. The position requires the ability to interface with other internal and external groups to ensure all safety, performance, and reliability requirements are satisfied. The desired candidate will be required to complete documentation and train others.The desired candidate will be required to effectively communicate using written and verbal skills, stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours), and be physically able to perform required tasks which may include stooping, crawling in confined spaces, and lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds.The position requires working compressed shifts, days or nights.Education:AA, AS, AAS, in electronics or other industrial engineering related discipline is preferred. Education along with experience or military training may satisfy formal education requirements.Experience:Specific knowledge of semiconductor maintenance job functions is required. KLA equipment or track experience is preferred but not required.
