Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Maintenance Technician Apprentice for its Malta site Fab 8, a 300mm leading edge semiconductor manufacturing facility. You will monitor, sustain, and improve equipment and processes in collaboration with production teams and area engineers, performing preventive and corrective maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.

The apprenticeship spans 18–24 months with four college courses through HVCC at no cost.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in automotive repair, HVAC, or related fields welcomed.
• English language proficiency (written & verbal) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Monitor equipment for manufacturing readiness.
• Communicate status updates to Lead Tech or Engineer.
• Support and engage in training activities.
