Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Maintenance Technician Apprentice at its Malta FAB8 facility. You will monitor, sustain and improve equipment, work with production teams, and complete four HVCC college courses during an 18–24 month apprenticeship with potential promotion to a Level 2 Technician.

Responsibilities include following procedures, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, testing equipment readiness, and communicating shift handoffs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• On-the-job experience welcomed in automotive repair, HVAC, or related fields.
• English language fluency for communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and communicate status to leads.
• Assist in training activities and continuous improvement.
• Work in a cleanroom environment per semiconductor protocol (PPE).
