Job summary

Tower Semiconductor Ltd. in San Antonio, TX seeks an Inventory Control Specialist to manage material handling, chemical inventory, and Kanban replenishment for the fab. You will use SAP to record stock and coordinate with procurement to avoid production disruptions.

Responsibilities include weekly counts, batch expiration tracking, and ensuring safety/storage compliance across manufacturing operations. The role requires 1–3 years in a related setting and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• Stocking and inventory management of hazardous chemicals and cleanroom/fab consumables.
• Receive, inspect and route incoming materials and chemicals with accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory levels and replenish Kanban materials based on production needs.
• Collaborate with Procurement to avoid production disruptions.
• Execute and manage material stock transactions in SAP.
• Conduct weekly physical inventory counts and reconcile with system data.
• Track batch expiration dates and coordinate replacements.
• Prepare wafers for scrapping and coordinate shipments per procedures.
• Maintain safety supplies cabinet and ensure adequate stock.
• Monitor yard space and dispose of old pallets and crates to maximize space.
• Provide cross-department support and comply with safety/regulatory standards.
