Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Implant Equipment Technician to maintain state-of-the-art semiconductor production equipment and drive improvements in quality, efficiency, and defect reduction. You will work 24/7 in a high-volume fab, perform PM and BM, troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues, and cross-train on ion-implantation and rapid thermal processing systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
• 2+ years in industrial manufacturing or similar.
• Experience with semiconductor equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and BM on implant and anneal tool sets.
• Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues.
• Assemble and disassemble mechanical components as needed.
• Follow SOPs, PTPs, and OCAPs to operate safely and cost-effectively.
• Utilize tool GUIs and data systems to recover tool issues.
