Job summary

Coherent Corp. is seeking a manufacturing associate to support on-shift activities in a high-volume semiconductor environment.

You will maintain VCSEL/PD production, run SPC charts, and perform basic OCAPS while collaborating with Engineering on new workflows and process development. Roles include training operations, writing work instructions, and coordinating with other process areas; 12-hour swing shifts with day shift availability, in a cleanroom setting.

Qualifications

• MS Office knowledge is required.
• Experience in a high-volume semiconductor environment.
• Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) is desired.

Responsibilities

• Support on-shift activities and deliver cross-shift passdowns.
• Maintain run-to-run VCSEL/PD production on production reactors.
• Run and read SPC charts.
• Perform basic OCAPS.
• Train operations in Work Instructions.
• Assist Engineering with new workflows.
• Assist Engineering with new process development.
• Assist Engineering with data gathering and analysis.
• Write new work instructions for Operations.
• Work with other process areas if needed.
