Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking an Semiconductor Sourcing Intern to support strategic sourcing activities across critical semiconductor suppliers and materials used in Micron products. You will gain hands-on experience in supplier analysis, market intelligence, category strategy, benchmarking, cost management, risk assessment, and AI-enabled procurement processes.

Qualifications

Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s in SCM, Business, Engineering, or related field.
Expected graduation after August 2027.
Strong interest in semiconductor sourcing, procurement, and global supply chains.
Experience with analytical and reporting tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.

Responsibilities

Support semiconductor category management through supplier analysis, market intelligence, benchmarking, spend analysis and sourcing initiatives.
Analyze supplier performance, market trends, cost drivers, supply-demand dynamics, and risk indicators.
Develop and maintain supplier scorecards, dashboards, reports, and analytical models to improve transparency and cost competitiveness.
Collaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and Legal teams on supplier-related decisions.
Use AI-enabled tools to improve procurement efficiency, data analysis, and decision-making.
