Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a Category Supplier Management Intern to support procurement, supplier management, and strategic sourcing initiatives. You will analyze market trends, support spend analysis, and contribute to AI adoption across procurement processes.

The role emphasizes collaboration with procurement professionals and business partners to deliver cost savings, operational excellence, and category recommendations, while gaining hands-on experience in AI-enabled procurement workflows.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant experience through internships, co-ops, or projects.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Expected graduation date of September 2027 or later.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable recommendations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other business productivity tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Interest in AI-enabled tools and technologies, including generative AI and LLMs.

Responsibilities

• Support cost management and category strategies through market research and spend analysis.
• Assist strategic sourcing by analyzing supplier and market trends and developing category recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to support business objectives and deliver procurement solutions.
• Analyze procurement metrics and supplier performance data to identify savings and improvements.
• Support AI adoption initiatives by identifying use cases and tracking adoption metrics.
