Job summary

RTX is seeking a college intern to join the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions Department (AMSD) in Andover, MA. The role focuses on wafer fabrication and semiconductor processing, including handling GaAs and GaN wafers, lithography, deposition, and etching steps.

You will gain expertise in optical and SEM imaging, data analysis, and failure analysis while contributing to AMSD programs that support defense applications.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or graduate degree in STEM.
• Minimum of 30 hours of credit by start of internship session.
• Strong intellectual curiosity and interest in semiconductor processing.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cleanroom environment.
• Handle GaAs and GaN wafers.
• Assist with lithography, deposition, and etch processes.
• Perform and document optical microscope inspections.
• Perform scanning electron microscope imaging.
• Failure analysis and data analysis.
