Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of semiconductor device physics and IC fabrication.
• Experience with failure analysis techniques and equipment.
• Ability to document findings clearly in technical reports.
• Willingness to work without visa sponsorship for the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical, physical, and material analysis on failed semiconductor devices.
• Utilize advanced FA techniques including SEM/EDX, FIB, IR microscopy, X-ray, and decapsulation.
• Perform fault isolation and pinpoint failure locations.
• Collaborate with design, process, test, and reliability teams to identify failure mechanisms.
• Document procedures, findings, and conclusions in detailed reports.
• Maintain and calibrate FA equipment to ensure accuracy.
• Develop and implement new FA methodologies to improve efficiency.
• Support cross-functional teams in corrective and preventive actions.
