Job summary

Intel Corporation in Albuquerque, NM, seeks a Production Engineer to define and improve factory strategies, standards, and processes for high-velocity semiconductor output in a low-volume, high-mix environment.

You will apply manufacturing science, factory physics, and data-driven decisions to optimize WIP, cycle time, and performance, partnering with COS and ROC leaders to align technology development with manufacturing goals.

Qualifications

  • > Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field and 5+ years semiconductor manufacturing experience.
  • "> Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field and 3+ years in semiconductor manufacturing or related disciplines.
  • "> Experience with semiconductor process flow technology, WIP management, production control systems, capacity planning, and Theory of Constraints methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy factory-wide operational strategies, standards, business processes, and systems that improve output, cycle time, WIP health, and manufacturing velocity.
  • Serve as a key integrator across Production, Planning, Automation, Process Engineering, and IE to drive alignment and execution.
  • Identify and address systemic manufacturing constraints through factory physics, Theory of Constraints, Lean principles, and structured problem-solving methods.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve factory performance, efficiency, and capacity.
  • Own the strategic roadmap, governance, and continuous improvement of critical operational systems.
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions, reporting frameworks, and decision-support tools for proactive management.
  • Drive adoption of BKMs and operational standards across the factory and VF network.
  • Represent F11X Production in VF councils and improvement teams to shape network-wide capabilities.
  • Influence priorities and decisions through data-driven recommendations and stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and factory stakeholders.
