Job summary

Intel Corporation seeks a Production Engineer to define and implement strategies that optimize WIP, cycle time, and manufacturing velocity in a low-volume, high-mix semiconductor environment. You will apply factory physics, data-driven decision-making, and structured problem solving to drive operational excellence.

The role partners with COS/ROC groups to develop scalable solutions, lead cross-functional initiatives, and mentor engineers across the factory network.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related technical field.
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (optional).
  • Experience with semiconductor process flow technology, WIP management, production control systems, capacity planning, and Theory of Constraints methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy factory-wide operational strategies, standards, business processes, and systems that improve output, cycle time, WIP health, and manufacturing velocity.
  • Serve as a key integrator across Production, Planning, Automation, Process Engineering, Integration, IE, and other factory organizations to drive alignment and execution.
  • Identify and address systemic manufacturing constraints using factory physics, TOC, Lean, and structured problem-solving.
