Job summary

Absolics Inc. in Covington, GA is seeking a motivated Semiconductor FAB Technician to support daily manufacturing in a cleanroom, ensuring safe, efficient production of semiconductor wafers.

The role involves operating FAB equipment, loading wafers, performing startup/shutdown, logging data, and collaborating with engineers to meet production goals while maintaining cleanliness and safety. Shift work includes day, night, or rotating schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science or equivalent.
• Experience in semiconductor or cleanroom environments is a plus.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and SOPs.
• Comfortable wearing full cleanroom PPE.
• Willingness to work 8–12 hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain FAB equipment (etching, deposition, lithography).
• Load and unload wafers with precision.
• Start up, shut down, and troubleshoot equipment.
• Log production data and machine status.
• Collaborate with engineers to meet production goals.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the FAB.
• Support calibration and regular maintenance.
