Job summary

SkyWater Technology, Inc. is seeking a Fab Operations Technician/Clean Room Technician to produce high-quality semiconductor products for customers in a controlled cleanroom environment.

The role includes operating machines, loading/unloading wafer equipment, following procedures, and performing quality checks. It requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and willingness to learn, with a 6:00 pm–6:15 am shift and a 10% differential.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Willingness and desire to learn and grow.
• Previous semiconductor industry experience is a plus.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Effective organizational and planning skills.
• US Citizenship is required for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned machines in a cleanroom environment.
• Load and unload wafer production machines (microchips).
• Follow detailed instructions to ensure correct procedures are completed.
• Perform quality inspections on finished products.

• Ensure proper gowning procedures and safety standards are followed.
• Maintain a positive attitude and be punctual for clean pass downs between shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
