Job summary

Bechtel Corporation seeks a Senior Commissioning and Start-Up Manager to lead the commissioning and start-up of a leading-edge semiconductor fabrication facility in Chandler, AZ. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or Construction Management as stated.
• 15+ years in engineering or 20 years in high-tech construction/commissioning.
• Leadership in commissioning large-scale semiconductors or high-tech facilities.
• Strong scheduling, integration, and startup planning skills.
• Excellent communication with clients, operations, and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop commissioning strategy and execution plans.
• Define system turnover plans and phased readiness strategies.
• Coordinate with scheduling to align construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up.
• Lead system commissioning, start-up, and performance verification.
• Oversee test plans, procedures, and validation protocols.
• Troubleshoot system deficiencies and ensure initial load stability.
• Interface with client stakeholders to meet objectives and acceptance criteria.
• Communicate status, risks, and mitigations to project leadership.
• Drive turnover to operations and readiness for manufacturing.
