Job summary

FormFactor, Inc. in Farmers Branch, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Section Manager to lead VPS Operations during startup and scale fab operations. You will establish foundational systems, workforce readiness, and operational discipline to launch manufacturing capability.

The role emphasizes building scalable training, KPI-driven controls, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Facilities, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing Systems to achieve safe, on-time, quality production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience leading manufacturing supervisors and operators.
• Experience in semiconductor, wafer fab, cleanroom, or precision manufacturing environments.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Experience building manufacturing operational systems prior to production launch and MES implementation.

Responsibilities

• Startup & Manufacturing Readiness: lead readiness activities prior to production launch and support startup execution.
• Develop and implement standardized work, escalation processes, and operational routines.
• Own KPI management, OEE, cycle time, and visual controls across shifts.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, certification, and workforce ramp activities; develop front-line supervisors.
