Job summary

MACOM designs and manufactures semiconductor products for Data Center, Telecommunication and Defense applications. The Lowell, MA fab requires a mid to senior level Equipment Technician to perform repair, maintenance, and continuous improvement across multiple processing areas, with a 12-hour shift schedule.

The role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and close collaboration with Engineering for new equipment; some travel for external training is required.

Qualifications

• Must have recent experience in semiconductor fab repair and maintenance.
• Technical education preferred in electronics and/or mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Executes repair, maintenance, and PM of fabrication equipment to maximize uptime.
• Assists engineering in commissioning of new fabrication equipment.
• Uses test and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and repair systems.
• Maintains records, passdowns, and parts inventory.
