Job summary

Intel in Albuquerque, NM is seeking Tech Grad candidates to support wafer production equipment across Litho/Metro, Dry Etch, Thin Films, or CMS. Roles involve setup, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and coordination with vendors, all in a safety-driven environment.

Successful applicants typically hold a STEM-related degree or relevant hands-on experience; on-site shifts run 7:00 AM–7:00 PM with a focus on continuous improvement and equipment availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of hands-on technical experience or military technical experience.
• Alternative: 1+ year in equipment maintenance or 1+ year in technical/trade school certification, or 2+ years of technical experience.
• Associate or BS STEM degrees in related fields are preferred; semiconductor experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support equipment operations to meet safety, quality, production and cost objectives.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on manufacturing equipment.
• Perform setup, calibration, preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Coordinate with vendors for service and repair support as needed.
• Dismantle, repair, install and assemble equipment per manuals and procedures.
• Monitor alarms, troubleshoot faults, and restore production quickly.
• Collaborate with Module Engineering on experiments and data collection.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and data analysis.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of related hands-on technical experience, or military technical experience

High School Diploma or equivalent and 1+ year of experience in an equipment maintenance role

High School Diploma or equivalent and 1+ year of technical/trade school certification, or 2+ years of technical experience

Associate degree in a STEM-related field

BS STEM related to Semi. Mfg (MET)/ BS STEM (operator) - and no experience

Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on 300mm semiconductor manufacturing equipment or equivalent equipment
