Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Chandler, AZ seeks a maintenance technician to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on semiconductor toolsets in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will troubleshoot electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, perform consumable changes, and ensure safety and reliability of equipment.

The role requires the ability to read operational data, diagnose alarms, and communicate effectively with internal and external groups.

Qualifications

• AA/AS/AS in electronics or a related mechanical discipline preferred.
• Experience with high-volume semiconductor equipment is a plus.
• Ability to read operational data and diagnose alarms.
• Willingness to work compressed shift; stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on specified toolsets.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Perform consumable changes and safety tasks as required.
• Document activities and potentially train others.
