Job summary

SEH America, Inc. in Vancouver, Washington, is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician-CZ to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment used in silicon wafer production.

Qualifications

• 4+ yrs related work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with electrical and electro-mechanical systems, pneumatics and/or hydraulics.
• Knowledge of electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Able to read and adhere to written SOPs and safety requirements.
• Technical training, 2+ year technical degree or military equivalent.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Preferred: 3+ years experience plus associate’s degree or equivalent.
• Knowledge of PLC’s, VFD’s, Stepper and Servo motors.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair of manufacturing equipment used in silicon wafer manufacturing.
• Use test equipment to diagnose equipment failures.
• Perform equipment preventative maintenance as required.
• Rebuild manufacturing equipment as required.
• Recognize and advise on machine improvements based on failures.
• May perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineer.
• Use MMS (Maintenance Management System) to record repairs, parts and labor hours.
• Maintain positive and productive relationships with employees and leadership staff.
• Follow all Employment, Standards of Conduct, Site Services, Safety, and Quality policies.
• Adhere to SEHA Guiding Principles and participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Will perform other projects and tasks, as directed.
