Job summary

Skorpios Technologies, Inc. seeks an Equipment Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair electro-mechanical and chemical equipment used in semiconductor wafer production in a cleanroom.

The role includes troubleshooting, routine PM, tool ownership, and contributing to projects that enhance equipment capabilities. Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical/electrical/robotic issues, coordinating with production and engineering, and documenting PM specs in the Quality Management System.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or 9+ years experience in troubleshooting/repairing sophisticated electro-mechanical systems.
• Military technician experience can substitute for formal education.
• Experience with CMP tool sets and equipment highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, robotic, and vacuum integrity problems.
• Interact with production and engineering personnel to meet customer and production requirements.
• Repair semiconductor processing equipment.
• Communicate to Equipment Maintenance Manager parts that need to be ordered.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Document and update tool PM specs in Quality Management System.
• Perform cost estimates for simple projects including labor, materials and equipment.
