Job summary

Tower Semiconductor Ltd. is seeking an equipment technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on semiconductor processing equipment to support production goals.

You will work with Equipment Engineers and the area Manager/Group Leader to resolve equipment and process-related issues, participate in shift pass-downs, and manage workload according to production priorities. The role requires an Associate Degree or military electronics background and 2+ years with major equipment vendors.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or Military experience in electronics, electrical, mechanical, nuclear or similar required.
• 2+ years experience with LAM, Mattson, KLA, and TEL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on semiconductor equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Collaborate with Equipment Engineers and area Manager/Group Leader to resolve equipment and process issues.
• Participate in area shift pass-downs and manage workload according to production priorities.
• Develop, document, and improve maintenance procedures.
• Interface with Senior Technicians and Engineers to support resolution of equipment issues.
• Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and repair on malfunctioning equipment.
• Participate in ERT/Safety events.
