Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to work hands-on in a cleanroom environment, building and testing multimillion-dollar display and wafer fabrication equipment. You will assemble electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic components and perform repairs and testing to ensure quality.

The role requires a high school diploma with 1–2 years in semiconductors or display, and you will follow standard operating procedures while working under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1–2 years semiconductor or display experience, or comparable military experience.
• Ability to follow standard operation procedures (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair and test equipment using work orders and schematics.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations and troubleshooting.
• Receive parts and conduct audits to ensure availability and quality.
• Use test fixtures and measurement equipment to test assemblies and components.
• Complete data entry and documentation; install software if needed.
