Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to build, repair and test multimillion-dollar display and wafer fabrication equipment in a cleanroom environment. You will assemble electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic components, and troubleshoot to meet precise specifications.

You will operate test fixtures and measurement tools, document progress, and perform software installations to improve processes, while adhering to safety standards and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Performs electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair.
• Uses test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies.
• Detail finished work and perform audits to ensure parts are available and inspected for defects.
• SAP/IOMS - Familiarity with Automated Work Instructions and following precise specs in manufacturing.
• Cleanroom gowning protocol & PPE compliance.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies and components.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair; identify and correct errors.
• Maintain safety standards and a clean, healthy work environment; follow safety training and policies.
• Test using fixtures and measurement equipment; enter data on computer terminal.
• Detail finished work and conduct audits to ensure parts availability and quality.
