Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to monitor and sustain equipment in a brand-new semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will work with shift teams, area engineers, and vendors to ensure tool performance and uptime while adhering to safety and contamination controls.

Responsibilities include proactive maintenance, addressing safety concerns, and documenting deviations to prevent recurring issues. Experience in manufacturing maintenance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, or Robotics or 2 years of maintenance experience.
• 2 years' experience maintaining manufacturing equipment, automation, or technical military exposure.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts with rotating days off and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to address preventive maintenance needs for manufacturing equipment.
• Identify performance gaps, document deviations, and implement improvements.
• Maintain cleanroom discipline and PPE compliance; support equipment availability initiatives.
