Job summary

Renesas Electronics is seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician to support Assembly/Test equipment at the Palm Bay, Florida facility. The role requires hands-on work, self-motivation, and strong communication skills to maintain high uptime on back-end equipment.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years with semiconductor manufacturing equipment maintenance, experience with Wafer Saws to ATE, and familiarity with Mil-STD 883, Z540, and ESD practices.

Qualifications

• AS/ASEET electronic engineering technology, military training, or 10+ years relevant work experience.
• 5+ years supporting Back-end Assembly/Test equipment (Wafer Saws, Die Attach, Wire Bonders, Automatic Wafer Probers, Device Handlers, and Mixed-Signal ATE).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with semiconductor manufacturing in the Equipment Maintenance Field
• Familiarity with Mil-STD 883 methods, Z540 Calibration procedures and ESD practices
• Strong mechanical skills
• Strong electronic skills
• Demonstrated problem solving ability
