Job summary

RTX is hiring a Semiconductor Equipment Engineer assigned to 2nd shift (1:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Mon-Thu with every other Friday off on a 9/80 schedule) to maintain and troubleshoot metal evaporation/sputter systems and lift-off equipment in a cleanroom.

The role requires a university degree or equivalent experience and at least 2 years of related work, with preferred knowledge in SEMI 10 standards, schematics, SPC controls, and FDC software.

Raytheon is hiring a Semiconductor Equipment Engineer assigned to 2nd shift with the hours of 1:30Pm-11pm Mon-Thursday and every other Friday off on a 9/80 schedule. Candidate will be a shift support engineer and be responsible for the uptime and maintenance of Metal evaporation/Sputter systems and lift off equipment; and work hands on in a cleanroom environment. The candidate will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of semiconductor processing equipment within the clean room environment. This Includes high levels of experience, electrical, electro-mechanical, and gas systems typically found in a semiconductor operation. Future expansion to support a wider range of equipment is expected.

Qualifications
You Must Have
  • Typically require a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience maintaining, troubleshooting and/or repairing manufacturing equipment.
We Prefer
  • Familiar with SEMI 10 semiconductor standards
  • Read and understand equipment manuals and schematics.
  • Have a fundamental knowledge of SPC controls with the ability to implement SPC control plans on existing equipment and new equipment installations.
  • Able to document work and provide detailed pass down.
  • Ability to pull and analyze tool date.
  • Experience with predictive maintenance and SPC controls using FDC software.
  • Knowledge of thin-film metrology (ellipsometry, XRR, TEM, XPS, FTIR).
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and support a dynamic production setting.
  • Proficient use of MS Office products.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
