Job summary

TOKYO ELECTRON AMERICA, INC. is offering a Summer 2027 internship in Albany, NY. You will support the Engineering department in designing and improving TEL equipment, with emphasis on safety, testing, and cross-functional collaboration.

The program provides meaningful project work, Lean thinking, and hands-on experiences that contribute to business objectives and professional development. Eligibility requires pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering and legal work authorization in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed second year of BS EE or related degree.
• Background in computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet analysis, data visualization).

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and development of systems to monitor and control TEL equipment.
• Assist with design and development of power distribution within TEL equipment.
• Create and improve test procedures and run tests and experiments.
• Assist in defining tool configurations and interfacing hardware and software.
• Learn key aspects of product compliance to industry specs including NFPA 79, SEMI standards and EMC directives.
