Tokyo Electron Limited in Albany, NY is offering a Summer 2027 Internship to support our Engineering department in designing and testing state-of-the-art semiconductor equipment. This hands-on role involves design, test, rework, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You'll gain practical experience in monitoring and controlling TEL equipment, learning industry standards like NFPA 79 and SEMI, while applying Lean principles to project work.

Competenze

• Completed second year of studies towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Ability to work safely in production or laboratory environments with hazardous chemicals and large machinery.
• Some knowledge of the semiconductor industry.
• Background in word processing, spreadsheet analysis, and data graphing.

Mansioni

• Assist with design and development of systems that will monitor and control TEL equipment.
• Assist with design and development of power distribution within TEL equipment.
• Create and improve test procedures and run tests and experiments.
• Assist in defining tool configurations and interfacing hardware and software.
• Become familiar with semiconductor tools.
• Learn aspects of engineering project management.
• Attend cross-functional team meetings to review project status and weekly assignments.
• Complete required safety training.
