Job summary

Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, seeks an Engineering Technician for semiconductor manufacturing in Gloucester, MA. You will support production and engineering teams, performing electro‑mechanical tasks, troubleshooting equipment, and contributing to NPI activities.

The role requires hands‑on work with AMAT/VSE platforms, building, testing, and documenting procedures. Shift details include 2nd shift with 10% differential and potential 4th shift with 11% differential.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience in production/manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process systems.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Ability to build equipment from unreleased schematics and drawings.
• Familiarity with electrical test equipment, meters, and diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of fiber-optic communications.

Responsibilities

• Perform electro-mechanical functions including design support, testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly.
• Build and work with electronics, electro-mechanical systems and prototype models.
• Troubleshoot and test electrical and mechanical issues at component and system level.
• Support new system installs, NPI activities, and field upgrades.
• Work from schematics, layouts, and instructions; maintain logs and procedures.
• Perform testing on AMAT/VSE platforms per specs and document results.
