Job summary

Fish & Richardson P.C. is seeking a technology specialist to join its top-ranked IP practice in the United States. You will draft patent applications for innovative clients, describe inventions with figures, and interact with patent offices to advance pending filings.

You have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, at least 2 years of patent drafting or prosecution experience, and strong English and Korean language skills. Registration before the USPTO is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 2+ years of patent drafting and/or prosecution experience.
• Strong writing skills and excellent academic credentials.

Responsibilities

• Draft patent applications for semiconductor technologies and other innovations.
• Correspond with patent offices regarding pending patent applications.
• Advise patent litigation teams based on technical and scientific expertise.
• Interview inventors about new ideas.
