Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Boise is seeking a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to join our team and support cost consultancy for complex capital projects, including advanced manufacturing and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in cost management, a relevant degree (Construction/Engineering), and familiarity with procurement, value engineering, and cost reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction-related field required or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of cost management experience in construction.
• RICS accreditation is valuable or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Advise client on strategies, vendor prequalification, proposals, and bid interviews.
• Develop and review project estimates including construction, fees, and direct costs.
• Prepare cost reports and forecasts, maintain risk register, and lead meetings with project teams and vendors.
• Review payment applications, change orders, and ensure SOX controls where applicable.
• Oversee final accounting, post-contract audits, and handover procedures.
