Job summary

CAM Industrial Solutions is seeking a Journeyperson Sheet Metal Worker with cleanroom experience to fabricate, install, and maintain ductwork and enclosures for ultra-clean semiconductor environments. You will work under foreman guidance, read blueprints, perform precision layout and welding, and ensure compliance with SMACNA/SEMI standards while maintaining strict safety and cleanliness.

This role requires high attention to detail, teamwork, and willingness to work in controlled environments

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Sheet Metal certification (Red Seal or equivalent) required.
• Experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or high-purity environments with cleanroom/air distribution.
• Ability to read blueprints, isometric/3D models, HVAC/ductwork layouts.
• Knowledge of SMACNA, SEMI, NFPA, OSHA standards.
• Welding, metal forming, fabrication tools, sealing techniques.
• Attention to detail and finish quality.
• Experience with cleanroom protocols (gowning, contamination control).
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and 2D/3D models for cleanroom duct and enclosures.
• Fabricate, assemble, install, and seal sheet metal components.
• Perform precise layout, cutting, bending, forming, and finishing.
• Ensure installation meets cleanroom classifications and low leaks.
• Carry out leak testing, QA checks, and turnover documentation.
• Follow safety and cleanroom protocols; PPE and gowning.
• Coordinate with trades and management to meet milestones.
• Maintain clean work areas to high-purity standards.
