Job Description

Responsible for deployment of fault detection software, sensors, and new application development for the IMS (Intelligent Manufacturing Systems) Product Group. Ideal candidates will be located out of the Portland area but will work remotely and travel to customer sites. The successful candidate will work with INFICON's sales team to develop new opportunities and support projects at assigned accounts.

1. Deploy and Support sensor integration and FabGuard Software Platform on broad array of semiconductor process equipment.
2. Create recipes and data analysis of tool based sensors (data), INFICON sensors and the customer’s sensors for Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) using FabGuard.
3. Provide technical assistance within areas of specialty for customers.
4. Provide feedback to customers on applications work including troubleshooting, recipe development, and installation procedures.
5. Identify process areas where INFICON sensors and software can add value.
6. Report weekly activities, customer requests, needs, and requirements to onsite account Manager.
7. Provide onsite training on INFICON products including FabGuard FDC software, hardware usage, and troubleshooting.
8. Assist with installation support of INFICON equipment, sensors, FabGuard software, and He Leak Detectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related sciences with 2-5+ years’ experience, preferably in Semiconductors.
• Understanding of Semiconductor Processes and OEM tools including Lithography, PVD, and CVD; knowledge of ALD, Etch, and CMP is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills for external and internal relationships.
• Ability to adapt to various field situations and foster strong relationships.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20-25%, domestically and internationally.

Additional Information

The salary range is between $60,000 and $125,000 per year. Employees are eligible for a profit sharing bonus with a target of 5%. Compensation depends on experience, location, and other factors.
