Job summary

CHS Inc. in Rosemount, MN is seeking a Truck and Trailer Mechanic to perform preventive and light maintenance on semis and trailers. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4pm, with potential Saturday work during busy periods.

The role includes a $3,000 sign-on bonus, paid in two installments over 30 days and after one year in the role, and comprehensive benefits as part of CHS's total rewards package.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Truck Maintenance.
• Pre-employment screening may be required per job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain vehicles, machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance for safe, reliable vehicles within industry standards.
• Provide assistance to junior team members.
• Perform record keeping and documentation as required.
• Maintain spare parts and equipment inventory and keep tools and work areas organized.
• Follow CHS policies, participate in training for service and repair of vehicles and facilities.
• Promote a strong safety culture and address hazards or unsafe actions.
• Perform other responsibilities as needed or assigned.
