Job summary

CHS Inc. in McPherson, KS seeks a Truck and Trailer Mechanic to perform preventative and light maintenance on semis and trailers. The role runs Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with possible Saturday hours as demand requires.

The position offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus and requires 1+ year of semi-truck maintenance experience, plus a high school diploma or GED. Strong communication and safety awareness are important.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in semi truck and trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; technical training preferred.
• Industrial maintenance experience desirable.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain trucks, trailers and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure safety and reliability.
• Document work performed and parts used for inventory control.
• Adhere to CHS safety policies and procedures.
• Be flexible for overtime or Saturday work as needed.
