Dallas Trailer Repair Co. seeks a Trailer Technician to perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on trailers and related equipment. The role requires solid knowledge of mechanical tools, service and diagnostic equipment, and repair procedures.

Candidates should show attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently or in a team. The position offers an hourly rate and benefits, with opportunities for shift differentials and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of mechanical or equivalent experience.
• ASE certifications are highly desired but not required.
• Must pass pre-employment tests, background check, and drug/medical exam.
• Must have own tools and safety gear; basic math and ability to read/write in English.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair trailers and related equipment.
• Perform maintenance and repairs per industry standards and manufacturer specs.
• Complete trailer body work and undercarriage repairs (air bag replacement, cross-members, dolly legs, tandem systems).
• Develop and document action plans; follow checklists and protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace; care for tools and equipment.
• Follow health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with coworkers and support team goals; work independently when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
