Qualifications

• Minimum of hands-on experience with trailer repair and maintenance.
• Knowledge of brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulics, and DOT requirements.
• Ability to read manuals and use diagnostic tools.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues on trailers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine trailer servicing.
• Repair or replace brake systems, suspensions, axles, landing gear, and wheel-end components.
• Troubleshoot lighting, wiring, and electrical systems; conduct DOT inspections.
• Document repairs and maintain accurate work orders in the maintenance system.
