Job summary

Dallas Trailer Repair Co. in Henderson, Colorado, is seeking a skilled Semi-Trailer Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of semi-trailers. You will work with trailer systems, perform preventive maintenance, and complete required DOT inspections.

The role requires experience with brakes, suspension, air, electrical, and structural systems, plus a safety‑first mindset. You will document repairs, operate diagnostic tools, and collaborate with the team to ensure quality

Qualifications

• Previous trailer repair or heavy-duty mechanical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of trailer brake, suspension, air, electrical, and structural systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Ability to pass background check, drug test, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on dry vans, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, and other trailer types.
• Repair brakes, suspension systems, wheel ends, lighting, electrical systems, doors, roofs, and trailer structures.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Troubleshoot and repair air systems and trailer-related mechanical issues.
• Complete work orders and repair documentation accurately.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
