- DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This is a seasonal job that is currently budgeted for 17 pay periods (34 weeks) per fiscal year. These seasonal positions are critical to ensuring that maintenance areas have the manpower required to maintain the facilities in their region during the busiest months of the year. Access area maintenance is critical to ensure that accesses and ramps are safe for public use. Additionally, this position will allow for crews of two, ensuring that no one works alone and that everyone is able to safely complete the tasks assigned to them, such as mowing access areas and dam breasts. Work includes but is not limited to installing docks, installing signage, weed eating, litter pickup, and making minor maintenance repairs on dams and spillways.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Seasonal, full-time employment (March through November)
- This position does not receive medical benefits. Paid time off accrues after working 750 regular (non-overtime) hours in each calendar year.
- Work hours are 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday - Wednesday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM Thursday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- There may be occasional travel, overnights, weekend, evening, holiday, or overtime work.
- Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

- REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Conditions of Employment:
- This position will require possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
