Job summary

Overhaul Carriers Ltd. is seeking experienced CDL Class A local drivers for home daily routes in Connecticut and New York. This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with 2-3 overnights per week and no-touch freight on CT/NY lanes.

Compensation ranges from $1,535 to $1,650 per week with a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a DOT drug screen. Equal Employment Opportunity employer.

Monday to Friday. Drivers should plan on being out overnight 2-3 nights per week.

Operating Area:

Drivers on this local job will operate in CT and NY.

Miles per week:

2000., No Touch Freight.

Duties:

• Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.

Requirements:

• Minimum age of 21, Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen., Urine Test.

Moving Violation:

• No more than 2 in the last 3 years.
• Warnings on PSP will count towards moving violations.

Accident:

• No more than 3 minor accidents/incidents in the past 3 years.
• No more than 3 incidents in the last 3 years.

Tickets:

• No more than 3 accidents and/or tickets.
• No more than one preventable with less than 12 months of experience.

Felonies:

• All criminal convictions are reviewed on an individual basis as part of an overall review of the file.Felony drug charges must be outside of 7 years.

Misdemeanors:

• All criminal convictions are reviewed on an individual basis as part of an overall review of the file.

DUI/DWI:

• No more than 1 and it must be outside of 5 years old.
• If Driver has 2 DUI's, they will be considered if both are prior to 2002.
