Job summary

Overhaul Carriers Ltd. seeks a CDL Class A Truck Driver for a local home daily schedule. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure on-time deliveries of freight.

Regional operation covers NY, MA, CT, NH, VT and NJ with no-touch freight. Safety, compliance, and on-time performance are top priorities for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 with valid CDL Class A license.
• DOT drug test (urine) required.
• Moving violations: no more than 2 in the last 3 years.
• Warnings on PSP count toward violations.
• No more than 3 minor accidents/incidents in 3 years.
• No more than 3 incidents or tickets in the last 3 years.
• No more than one preventable incident with less than 12 months of experience.
• Felonies reviewed individually; drug charges outside 7 years.
• DUI/DWI: no more than 1, outside 5 years; two DUIs prior to 2002 may be considered.
• DUI/DWI in CMV may be considered with SAP paperwork.

Semi Local Details.

Semi Local: Thursday to Monday.
Shift starts between 11pm-12am.
Driver can expect to get through the house 2-3 days during the shift.

Operating Area.

Drivers on this regional job will operate in NY, MA, CT, NH, VT, and NJ.

Miles per week.

2350., No Touch Freight.

Duties.

Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.

Requirements.

• Minimum age of 21, Valid CDL Class A license.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen., Urine Test.
• Moving Violation: No more than 2 in the last 3 years.
• Warnings on PSP will count towards moving violations.
• Accident: No more than 3 minor accidents/incidents in the past 3 years.
• No more than 3 incidents in the last 3 years.
• Tickets: No more than 3 accidents and/or tickets.
• No more than one preventable with less than 12 months of experience.
• Felonies: All criminal convictions are reviewed on an individual basis as part of an overall review of the file.Felony drug charges must be outside of 7 years.
• Misdemeanors: All criminal convictions are reviewed on an individual basis as part of an overall review of the file.
• DUI/DWI: No more than 1 and it must be outside of 5 years old.
• If Driver has 2 DUI's, they will be considered if both are prior to 2002.
• Drivers with a DUI/DWI in a CMV may be considered for employment with appropriate SAP paperwork.
