Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Semi-Local Chemical Tanker Driver for a high-pay, home-weekly role on a dedicated route. Earn an average of $103,500 gross per year with weekly pay around $2,100 and bonuses including a $1,000 show bonus and weekly safety pay.

Ongoing Hazmat and tanker endorsements are required and training is provided. Expect to haul ink and other chemicals on a roughly 2,200-mile week with pre-loaded outbound shipments and no driver unloading.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable CDL-A experience.
• Hazmat endorsement required to schedule.
• Tanker endorsement required before start date.
• Clean driving record is expected.
• DOT Medical Card must be valid.
• No SAP drivers accepted.

Responsibilities

• Haul ink and other chemicals in tanker, reefer, or van trailers using totes.
• Approximately 2,200 miles per week.
• Outbound loads are pre-loaded.
• Live unloading is completed by the receiver - no driver unload.
• Additional work may be available with other nearby accounts as needed.
