Job summary

Salt City Trucking is hiring a CDL-A Semi-Local Reefer Driver to haul fresh and frozen products on a dedicated route between Gilroy, CA and Aurora, CO, with frequent home time and weekday scheduling.

Expect automatic sleeper trucks with assigned equipment, no-touch freight, a Monday–Friday shift starting between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM, and roughly 13-hour days including 2–3 layovers weekly. Average annual pay is about $77,313. 3 months of CDL-A experience and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 3 months verifiable CDL-A experience.
• DOT Medical Card.
• Clean driving record.
• No SAP drivers.

Responsibilities

• Haul fresh and frozen products in reefer trailers.
• Dedicated route between Gilroy, CA and Aurora, CO.
• May cover other distribution center routes as needed.
• Combination of drop/hook and customer live load/unload.
• No-touch freight; chain as weather requires.
• May assist other nearby accounts when needed.
