Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Semi-Local Reefer Driver to maximize earnings on a dedicated route with frequent home time. The role features a Monday-Friday schedule, hauling fresh and frozen goods between Gilroy, CA and Aurora, CO, with no-touch freight and weather-based chaining as needed.

You will operate automatic sleeper trucks on a 2,520-mile weekly average, with layovers and extended days typical for this lane.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable CDL-A experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers.
• Ability to chain when weather conditions require.
• Flexibility to support other accounts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Haul fresh and frozen products in reefer trailers.
• Dedicated route between Gilroy, CA and Aurora, CO.
• May cover other distribution center routes as needed.
• Combination of drop-and-hook and customer live load/unload.
• No-touch freight.
• Must be willing and able to chain as weather requires.
• May assist other nearby accounts when needed.
